See exactly how your family's Parental Leave Pay plays out: how many days each parent can take, what lands in your account every week after tax, how low your savings get, and how much super you miss out on.

Enter your baby's due date, each parent's pay, your employer leave and the days you each plan to take Parental Leave Pay. The planner works out:

  • Your entitlement: 120 days (24 weeks) for births or adoptions from 1 July 2025, or 130 days (26 weeks) from 1 July 2026, the most one parent can take, and the days reserved for the other parent that can't be transferred.
  • The sharing rules, checked: days you both take at the same time (up to 20), and the 2-year deadline to use every day.
  • The income test and work test for each parent, using the right income year, including the rule that a partner can only be paid if the birth mother (or an adoptive parent) meets the work test.
  • A leave calendar for both parents, week by week, with employer leave, annual leave, unpaid leave and Parental Leave Pay days.
  • A week-by-week household cash flow for 116 weeks: each parent's take-home after estimated tax, your spending and your savings balance, with the lowest point flagged.
  • Super lost vs super paid: what you'd have had at current pay, against employer super and the ATO's 12% super on Parental Leave Pay (paid after 30 June each year).
  • A tax check: Services Australia withholds 15% from Parental Leave Pay unless you ask for more. The planner estimates whether that's enough, and how much to put aside.
  • A plain-English plan summary written from your numbers.

Uses the Parental Leave Pay rate for each financial year ($200.94 a day from 1 July 2026; $189.62 in 2025-26), the 2025-26 and 2026-27 income test limits and resident tax rates, all checked against Services Australia, the Department of Social Services Paid Parental Leave Guide, the ATO and the Federal Register of Legislation on 23 and 24 October 2026. Every source is listed inside.

What's inside: Home, Dashboard, Plan (your inputs), Plan Summary, Leave Calendar, Cash Flow, PPL Check, Super, Tax Check, Checks, Rules & Rates, Notes & Sources. Example data included: type over it. Works in Microsoft Excel (and opens in LibreOffice).

30-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE: if it doesn't work for your situation, message us within 30 days. We'll fix it, or refund you in full if you'd rather. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which are not excluded.

Not included: Family Tax Benefit, Child Care Subsidy, HELP repayments and family Medicare levy thresholds (add any payments you expect as "other household income"). The PLP rate for days from 1 July 2027 isn't set yet, so you enter your own assumption.
