Broad Sound - Mackay South region QLD Low tide map

The Broad Sound, Queensland (Famous for the largest tides in Qld)

This map is fresh. I compared it to low tides 6 months ago & only a few channels had slightly moved & they were way up into the system.

It would of been nice to include this map all the way to Mackay, however there are map limitations. It starts at West Hill Island and only gets part of West Hill Creek to the split but goes all the way around to Jessie Peak before cloud takes over the map. Still it covers over 200km of coastline around the Sound.

It includes the closer islands, but this map is not for that purpose. This is for the current sandbars along the coast.

This was an amazing place to map out, hopefully people can now easily chase Barra in the defined deeper sandbar channels and get your crab pots in & out.

But it's a 33km nearly unbroken long sandbar, Wow!!

If you fish this area, you definitely need this map.
