Little Amsterdam quilt pattern book (first edition, paper back)
This paper pattern book is only shipped to the UK.
The "Little Amsterdam" first-edition paperback quilt pattern book features fun, easy-to-make Dutch houses with 24 different roofs.
The pattern is 48 pages long and includes instructions and templates for regular, corner, and bridge houses. Many roofs have instructions for both appliqué and fused options. The patterns are in-depth and well-illustrated, and the templates are all full-sized.
Perfect for a confident beginner and beyond! Fun as a quilt, pillow, place mat, or tote bag ... the possibilities are endless.
Written for blue and white, this pattern looks great in all fabrics. The houses use fat quarters, making this a great stash-buster. Fabric suggestions and requirements are included. The quilt finishes at 72 x 72 inches.
A step-by-step video tutorial course accompanying this pattern book is available for purchase. You can learn more about the course here.
This is the pattern written by the North Sea Quilters, a collaboration between Marybeth Thomas Tawfik, Maria Laza and Leslie Carol Taylor, in 2007. The original quilt was inspired by the unique and distinctive architecture found on every street in the Netherlands, where all three of us lived at the time. The original quilt won First Prize for Longarm Quilting in the European Open Quilt Championships 2007.
