This library captures the raw power and unique character of the waves along Batumi’s rocky shoreline. After several failed attempts due to calm seas and traffic noise, I finally recorded the stunning roar of crashing waves during a windy day on Georgia’s coast.
Beyond the shoreline, I also recorded footsteps across the beach and the subtle ambience of the Black Sea at night from our apartment. With the country under curfew at the time, the night soundscape is strikingly clear and uninterrupted—offering rare, immersive recordings without human interference.
