Fern Shawlette

The Fern Shawlette is worked flat, from side to side. It features a knit-in I-cord edge, garter stitch body, and a Fern Lace edging. Gradual increases in the garter stitch area create a graceful crescent curve. Beads are optional, but they do add sparkle and weight for drape. This design was featured in the Knit Picks’ Under 100 Knit Collection 2014. I’ve updated this pattern to streamline it for classes in 2020.
