This recording has been designed to assist you to be able to fly, free of fear. Being afraid to fly serves no purpose for you and if you are now ready to let this unhelpful fear go, then Flying Free of Fear can help.
The audio file begins with a progressive muscle relaxation process to calm and relax you. You are guided to a safe place and then taken through a visualisation exercise to rehearse remaining calm and relaxed in the lead up to flying, when going through the airport procedures and when you are on the plane.
We also visit the control room in your mind where you are able to turn off the fear of flying switch, which was responsible for you having this unnecessary fear.
What happens when you listen to the recording? You enter a state of deep relaxation similar to what you experience just before you drift off to sleep and when you first wake up. It is a completely natural and healthy state to be in. In this relaxed but focused state, you simply listen to the helpful, positive and therapeutic suggestions that are made and it is your choice whether you accept or reject those suggestions. You will remain aware of your surroundings and be in complete control at all times.
