Student-Led IEP and Self-Advocacy Bundle: IEP Slides, Disclosure, SOP and More, High School
Students build the IEP slides each year, work the disclosure guide and the accommodations guide in 11th and 12th grade, and complete the Summary of Performance with their input pages in the exit year. This student led IEP and self advocacy bundle gives transition students and the teachers who coach them four tools: slides students present at their own IEP meeting, a disability disclosure decision guide, a postsecondary accommodations guide, and a Summary of Performance template. Self advocacy is not one lesson. Students need to lead their meeting, decide what to share at work and college, understand how accommodations change after high school, and leave with a clear Summary of Performance. These four pieces follow that path.
