ANTIDIBETICS AND ANTIOXIDANT EFFECTS OF AQUEOUS FRUIT EXTRACT OF VELVET TAMARIND IN STREPTOZOTACIN INDUCED RAT.
This study investigates the anti-diabetic and antioxidant effects of aqueous fruit extract of velvet tamarind in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. The objectives of the study are to determine the effects of velvet tamarind extract on blood glucose levels, serum insulin levels, antioxidant enzyme activities, and histopathological changes in the pancreatic tissue of diabetic rats.
