COMPARATIVE STUDY OF SERUM CALCIUM LEVEL IN CHILDREN

The objective of this study was to compare serum calcium levels, dietary calcium intake, and urinary calcium excretion among children in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Vitamin D, calcium, and phosphorus have a crucial role in mineralized tissue formation and mineralization. The specific objectives of this study are to determine the serum calcium levels between the groups; to determine the dietary intake of children in the study; to comparing the serum levels of the estimated parameters for the children with high blood pressure with those of the low-normal blood pressure. This research consists of a title page, approval page, certification, abstract, List of abbreviation, Chapters One to Five (from introduction to conclusion), and references.
