ACUTE AND SUBACUTE TOXICOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF VERNONIA AMYGDALINA ON WISTAR RATS.

The acute and subacute toxicity profile of the aerial extract of Monsoniaangustifolia in Wistar rats was evaluated. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) 420 guideline was adopted in the acute toxicity testing with a single oral dose of 5000 mg/kg (b.w.).This research consists of a title page, approval page, certification, abstract, table of contents, list of abbreviations, Chapters One to Five (from introduction to conclusion), references, and appendices.
