So you guys asked for it and now its finally here! The Triple Dutch Cardigan is the Adult version of the Double Dutch Cardigan for Children!

What you will need:

Yarn – Yarn used in the sample is Lolodidit in the Wholelotta DK base (85% Non Superwash Polworth / 15% Silk) in the Make It Rain Colourway (663m/725yds per 250gm) – Alternatively you can also use a Worsted weight yarn or even fingering weight yarn held double (you will need to swatch to ensure your gauge matches the pattern).

•1260 – 2640m (1378 – 2887 yds) of DK Weight Yarn (650-1350g)

Needles – 4mm (US6) and 3.5mm (US4) 80cm/32in circulars, and DPN’s for Sleeves or use Magic Loop Method.

Notions –

• 4 Marker A and 6 Marker B markers (the two sets of markers need to be distinct from each other)
• Beginning of Round Marker – (optional for sleeve), & 4 removable markers for the collar
• Cable Needle
• Scrap yarn (or stitch holders),
• 8-10 Buttons ½ inch sized
• Tapestry Needle

Gauge – The gauge is 21sts and 34 rows in 4inches on larger needles in Stockinette – Gauge should be measured AFTER blocking. Knitting the garment at the incorrect gauge may result in a cardigan that is smaller or larger than intended (and if larger you may not have enough yarn to complete the garment).

Sizing – The pattern includes 8 adult sizes ranging from 34” to 62” chest circumference. Intended ease is around 0-2 inches or as much as you desire, so ensure you pick your size based on the finished measurements provided. (see sizing chart and schematic in the last two photos on the left)

The sleeve and body length in the pattern is the same for all sizes, however; these lengths are easily adjustable to suit your personal preferences.

Gender Neutral - This Cardigan was designed to be as gender neutral as possible, as such it does not include any waist/bust/hip shaping and there are instructions on how to work the buttonholes for Men or for Women included in the pattern.
