Mary Magdalene Made Simple
Mary Magdalene — delivered from seven devils (Luke 8:2), standing at the cross (John 19:25), sitting at the tomb (Mark 15:47), weeping in the garden at dawn — became the first human being to see the risen Jesus standing, and the first He sent with the news: "I have seen the Lord" (John 20:11-18).
Mary Magdalene Made Simple is a Bible-first walk through her story: the completeness of her bondage and the completeness of her deliverance, the loyalty that stayed at the cross, the tears that kept her in position at the tomb, the one word — her name — that opened her eyes, the gentle redirect from clinging to going, and the commission that made her the apostle to the apostles.
Explicitly Trinitarian: God the Father who planned her redemption; Jesus Christ — Son of God and Son of Man, Lord and Savior — who cast out her devils, died for her, rose for her, called her by name, and sent her; and the Holy Spirit, who alone gives deliverance, courage, and the power to witness. Every prayer is to the Father, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit.
Read one chapter a day. Come honest. Weep, witness, and go.
