You Can't Get Away From Christmas
You Can't Get Away from Christmas by Mona Deutsch-Miller
Synopsis: A young Catholic man, Chris, brings his Jewish girlfriend, Hannah, home for Christmas to meet his eccentric, hillbilly mother. As they decorate the tree, a mischievous Christmas tree—played by a mime—delights in tormenting Hannah while charming Chris's mother, until unexpected revelations turn the holiday upside down. A lighthearted comedy about family, faith, and the sometimes awkward intersection of Christmas and Jewish identity.
