NRP Viability Dashboard
PRODUCT TITLE:
NRP Organ Viability & Lactate Clearance Monitor — Clinical Documentation Tool
SHORT DESCRIPTION (shown in store listing):
A standalone clinical dashboard for normothermic regional perfusion — lactate clearance trajectory, organ-specific viability markers, and circuit parameters in one timestamped view. Built by a board-certified cardiovascular perfusionist with 20 years of clinical experience. No login. No internet required. Opens in any browser.
FULL DESCRIPTION:
The most important number in normothermic regional perfusion is not a single lactate value. It is the trajectory.
A lactate of 6 at 45 minutes can mean two completely different things depending on where it started and where it is headed. Most programs are tracking that trajectory on a paper flow sheet or from memory. This tool tracks it the way it should be tracked — as a timestamped, pattern-recognized clinical record.
The NRP Organ Viability & Lactate Clearance Monitor is a standalone clinical tool that runs as a single HTML file in any browser, on any device. No installation. No login. No internet connection required.
WHAT IT TRACKS:
LACTATE CLEARANCE TIMELINE
• Six structured timepoints — initiation, 20, 45, 60, 90, and 120 minutes
• Automatic pattern recognition — classifies the trajectory as active clearance, plateau, or a non-viability signal
• A live clearance-rate gauge showing percentage cleared from peak
ORGAN-SPECIFIC VIABILITY MARKERS
• Liver — bile production status and ALT trend
• Kidney — urine output per observation period and creatinine trend
• Heart — contractility status, with ventricular fibrillation tracked separately from asystole
• Bowel — motility and color
• Glucose — hepatic metabolic activity marker
CIRCUIT PARAMETERS
• NRP flow, MAP, SvO2, temperature, pH, and hematocrit — each with institutional target ranges displayed alongside live entries
KEY FEATURES:
• Color-coded status indicators across every parameter
• Visual alarm banners for non-viability and plateau patterns
• Case header for documentation — case ID, organs procured, NRP type, initiation time, warm ischemic time
• Full exportable Viability Report — timestamped, structured, ready to attach to the case record
• Print to PDF
• Dark clinical theme, optimized for OR and procurement-suite use
WHY THIS MATTERS:
The perfusionist managing the NRP circuit is generating the data the transplant team uses to decide whether to proceed. A documented, timestamped, pattern-recognized lactate trajectory is a stronger clinical record than a handwritten value on a flow sheet — and a more defensible one.
WHO THIS IS FOR:
Perfusionists, transplant surgeons, ECMO specialists, and OPO coordinators involved in normothermic regional perfusion for organ donation after circulatory death.

IMPORTANT:
This tool is a clinical documentation and educational support tool. Lactate clearance thresholds reflect clinical experience and are not an established guideline standard. This tool does not determine organ viability and is not a substitute for clinical judgment. All organ acceptance decisions are the sole responsibility of the transplant surgeon.
