Tom Ferry, BS, CCP, is a Certified Clinical Perfusionist with 20 years of clinical experience across cardiac surgery, ECMO, normothermic regional perfusion, and transplant medicine. He operates as a traveling perfusionist through Central Coast Perfusion LLC, working across 24 hospitals in the United States.

He is the author of the NRP Black Book, the ECMO Program Blueprint, and AI in Perfusion — the first clinical governance framework for artificial intelligence in cardiac surgery and mechanical circulatory support. His clinical education products are used by perfusionists, ECMO specialists, and transplant teams internationally.

His work is grounded in current ELSO, ASTS, ISHLT, STS, and AATS guidelines and peer-reviewed literature. He also provides expert witness consultation in cardiac surgery, perfusion, and ECMO.
