A Scots word meaning a stripe around something, Ringle is a double layered, cowl or infinity scarf. Stranded colourwork patterns mark the meeting places between the stripes adding a fun twist and interest. Ringle is perfect for using up all your leftovers, or for 20g minis. Use as few as two colours or as many as 24, or mix it up and alternate a main colour with many contrast colours!

The cowl is worked in stranded/fair isle knitting. The colourwork pattern is both charted and written, with written instructions for the other rounds. As well as greyscale charts there is a page with blank charts that you can print out and colour in with your choice of colours. You will need to know how to do a provisional cast-on (I recommend the crochet cast-on) and how to graft two ends of stocking stitch together. The pattern has been tech edited and tested.
