Dangjin Lighthouse

My first impression of Dangjin in Chungcheongnam Province was that it was a gray sprawl of chemical plants and factories, but on the edges of town along the coast where the air is clearer, an entirely different experience can be enjoyed. Here in these small fishing villages you can eat fresh fish while taking in the view of the West Sea (Yellow Sea). This was the first lighthouse I ever saw in Korea, and it has a lot of personality. I really enjoyed painting this lighthouse. It gave me the perfect opportunity to enjoy painting with red, one of my favorite colors.
