Bedtime Story by Dan Borengasser

Synopsis: A father raccoon helps his restless son drift off to sleep with the tale of "Jason and the Dump." The story follows an unexpected meeting between a curious boy named Jason and an elderly raccoon known as Wise Whiskers at the local city dump. When Jason throws away his trash without a second thought, Wise Whiskers challenges him to see garbage in a whole new way.

Dan Borengasser is the retired vice president of Ozark Film & Video Productions, and presently resides in Springdale, AR. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arkansas. He has written greeting cards, juvenile fiction, short stories, screenplays, and a weekly humor column syndicated nationally by Copley News Service. Currently, he concentrates solely on playwriting, for which he has won numerous awards, including the Thomas W. Stephens Competition from PlayZoomers and Best Play Script from the SacTown Play Festival. Borengasser’s main hobby is, thankfully, playwriting.
