Soft and stylish, Cadence is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down in Alpaca 8 ply yarn from Adagio Mills. Cadence mixes neat twisted rib, smooth stocking stitch and regular increases to gently widen the cowl towards the bottom edge.

Yarn Requirements
Approximately 273 yards/250 metres of 8 ply/DK yarn.

The sample was knitted in Adagio Alpaca 8 ply (100% Alpaca; 104 yards/95 metres per 50 grams) in Clouds, 3 balls.

Needles & Notions
7 US/4.5 mm circular needles, 16-20 inches/40-50 cm long (or longer, if you use the magic loop method) or needle size to obtain gauge.
8 stitch markers.
Tapestry/yarn needle to weave in yarn ends.

Gauge
20 sts and 27 rounds per 4 inches/10 cm in stocking stitch, knitted in the round, after blocking.
Gauge is not crucial but a different gauge will alter the finished size, drape and amount of yarn required.

30 inches/76 cm at the bottom.
Height: 12.5 inches/32 cm.

You may find it useful to use a different colour/shape of stitch marker to indicate the bor marker.
