Job Site Task Cards Sampler: 12 Workplaces, Job Skills, Ages 14 to 21
Use it to see how the cards work with your students before you pick the sites that match your community and your caseload.
What's included:
• 12 task sequence cards with 6 numbered steps each, one per workplace
• 12 procedure cards ("what is the rule here?") on site rules like chemical safety, allergies, pick up lists, and forklifts
• Possible answers for every procedure card
• A list of every site and the 5 tasks in each full set
How I use it: model a task card, then have a student act it out while a partner reads the steps. Read one procedure card a day as a warm up and ask, "What is the rule here, and who do you tell?"
Each full set has 13 pages: a teacher page with three support levels, a job snapshot, 16 vocabulary cards and a match, 5 task cards with put it in order worksheets, safety rules and a safe or unsafe sort, 12 procedure cards with a planner, an on the job checklist, an answer key, and blank cards.
