Inspired by the textures and colors of daybreak - craggy shadows, backlit clouds marching across a sherbert sky, the delicacy of first light creeping along a pebbled sidewalk - this sweater features a nubby garter pattern in the yoke shaping and down the sides. The scoop neck and shaped hem add sophistication to an easy-fitting and cozy staple.

Sunup on 82nd is worked seamlessly from the top down with short row shaping at the hem. There is more ease in the front than the back.

This pattern features a progress chart to simplify 'at the same time' shaping for the neckline and the raglan shaping. For each row, the chart indicates number of stitches added for the neckline, number of stitches added via raglan, and total stitches at the end of the row. Varying rates of raglan increases are used across the range to create a consistent yoke depth.
