Giuseppe Araldi’s 12 Valzer per Trombe a chiavi ('12 Waltzes for Keyed Trumpet') is a charming collection of short duets. Although originally envisaged for keyed trumpet players, these duets are also ideally suited for intermediate or beginner modern trumpet players. These approachable, low-to-mid-register, and concise pieces would also provide excellent material for sight-reading practice.
