Hello and welcome to Food to Soothe the Soul – the exciting first e-cookbook from The Mindfulness Kitchen!
I’ve found food to be a great medium through which to express creativity, to connect with loved ones and to practise a little mindfulness. I've been struggling with mental illness for about 6 years now, so few years ago I started my blog, The Mindfulness Kitchen, and started using my passion for cooking to support me through the highs and lows of life.
This book is laid out in 5 chapters, each one stuffed with recipes perfect for a particular mood – Easy, Nourishing, Comforting, Fun and Quick. Whatever the weather, whatever the need, there’s a recipe in there for every occasion (and every mood!).
For every e-book sold I'm donating all the profits to Mind - a wonderful charity that campaigns for better mental health support and resources for everyone. I've set the price at £5 to make it as affordable as possible, however if you are able please consider donating more. Anything above the production costs will go directly to Mind, so anything you add on to the £5 minimum will automatically go to this incredible charity!
Together we can start to break down the stigma surrounding mental health and work towards a future in which everyone has access to the support they need.
