Susie the cat - cat pet - digital version

With the sun on her back, my cat, Susie, is sitting amongst the daisies, enjoying a lazy day.

This printed pattern is a one-off pattern and not part of a set. This block measures 8 by 6" rectangle and makes a lovely little project to get to grips with free motion embroidery.

It features a plain background with raw edge applique (sewn without fusible) secured with free-motion embroidery. The applique is cut from batik fabrics and layered to build up Susie and her flowers.
