DIGITAL KNITTING PATTERN available in English and German
Knit on the bias, this large and cozy scarf or cowl features alternating sections of two-color brioche and stripy texture. It is surrounded by an i-cord for a neat and finished look. Because of the diagonal sections, it looks different every time you wear it and because it’s reversible, you’ll always have the right side facing out.
The scarf pictured is worked in four colors of Woolfolk Sno and Tynd. I picked up the light and dark of the marled Color A by using dark and light grays as Color C and D, then added a moody bordeaux color pop as Color B for an elegant and super-soft winter scarf with a slight halo. The yarn is soft as a cloud and a dream to knit with.
You can change the mood of the scarf/cowl by playing with colors. Use a marled or speckled Color A, a color pop as Color B, your darkest color as C and your lightest as D.

- Color A: 409 m / 426 yards (marled/speckled)
- Color B: 164 m / 170 yards (color pop)
- Color C: 344 m / 359 yards (darkest color)
- Color D: 310 m / 323 yards (lightest color)
- Color A: 319 m / 333 yards (marled/speckled)
- Color B: 153 m / 160 yards (color pop)
- Color C: 256 m / 266 yards (darkest color)
- Color D: 224 m / 233 yards (lightest color)
Gauge: 22 sts / 48 rows = 10 cm / 4“ in garter stitch (relaxed after blocking) – although gauge is not critical, it will influence the size of your finished scarf/cowl!

Durch die verschiedenen Abschnitt in Patent und unterschiedlichen Texturen wird der schräg gestrickte Schal & Loop besonders abwechslungsreich und reversibel. Er sieht jedes Mal etwas anderes aus, wenn du ihn trägst – je nachdem, welcher Abschnitt gerade nach außen zeigt. Ein i-cord-Rand sorgt für einen sauberen Abschluss. Der Loop wird provisorisch angeschlagen und am Ende beide Seiten durch Maschenstich verbunden.
Der abgebildete Schal wurde in vier Farben mit Woolfolk Sno und Tynd gearbeitet. Die dunklen und hellen Farben des melierten Garns (A) wurden durch Grautöne (für C & D) wieder aufgenommen und mit einem Kontrastgarn in Bordeaux zu einem eleganten Winterschal kombiniert. Das Garn ist sehr weich und lässt sich wunderbar verarbeiten.
Durch verschiedene Farbkombinationen kannst du dem Schal oder Loop deine eigene Note verleihen. Verwende für A ein Multicolor-Garn, B ist der Farbtupfer, C die dunkelste und D die hellste Farbe.
