Heavy Thunder Rain Sound Effects Singapore
Singapore’s rainy season brings frequent, powerful thunderstorms, perfect for recording dramatic weather in high detail. On the way from Ju Koon MRT station to Decathlon, I heard distant thunder rumbling and quickly set up my gear on the back of a bridge.
Using a Zoom F8n, DPA 4060, and Zoom H3 VR for ambisonic recordings, I recorded rain hitting the roof above and splashing onto the street below. As the storm moved closer, the session filled with explosive lightning bolts, sharp thunder cracks, deep rumbles, and rolling thunder that echoed through the city.
From heavy strikes to subtle distant rumbles, this library offers a full range of tropical storm textures, ideal for post-production, sound design, games, music production, or ASMR projects.
