Midnight on Platform 16B is my first collection of 38 new compositions for viola, written in the tradition of the folk music of the British Isles, Europe and beyond.
There are two versions of the book included with this download: my illustrated full-colour version, which contains collages, drawings and anecdotes as well as the sheet music for all the tunes, and also a plain black and white (unillustrated) printer-friendly version.
The music is presented in alto clef, with chord symbols for an accompanist, and all the tunes fit on the viola in first position.
