This is a modern 12-panel over-bust 'plunging' corset pattern with a beautiful curve to accentuate your waist. UDATED FOR 2023 WITH ADDITIONAL SIZES AND MORE SOPHISTICATED BUST SIZING/SHAPING! Sizes (UK) 8 -26 (US 4 - 22), approx. cup size A-DD/E. Please note that if you are full-busted, a plunge corset will not give great support at the top centre front and spillage at this 'plunging' area can be an issue - the boning channels are shaped to minimise this and a ribbon at the top CF can also help pull the cups together. INCLUDES A 25 PAGE DOCUMENT OF CORSET CONSTRUCTION NOTES!
Note – a 2’’ lacing gap is factored into this pattern. If you would prefer your corset to close at the back, make one size larger.
The corset length measures 29cm at the centre front from the bottom to the sternum (top of busk) - the height to the bust apex varies according to bust size, and 44cm at the back.
This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and available as an instant download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' and 'centre the print' is ticked in your print dialogue box. Please save the files and open using Adobe PDF as your PDF previewer - you will then be able to isolate/hide layers and printout only the sizes/lines you require. The entire pattern if printed out on A4 or US letter is 36 pages however this is for all the size options - print only the sizes you need on fewer pages. There is a large format print also included (2x sheets of A0) if you prefer to print at a print shop.
It is recommended that you make a toile to the largest of your measurements to check the fit of the pattern – at this stage you can take in the smaller of your measurements, lengthen if need be, and transfer these amendments to your pattern to ensure a perfect fitting corset!
