The sample is shown in fingering weight, but the pattern works well in anything from a lace to an aran. The pattern pairs well with most yarns - the lace shows up well in anything from a variegated to a solid and the pattern is easily adjustable to size or yardage.
Size can be customized by working extra/fewer repeats in the body. When worked as stated, shawl has a wingspan of 43”/109cm and measures 25”/56cm down the back.

The Sylvan Lake Shawl is an overall lace shawl that is super open and lightweight. It's a classic symmetrical top down triangle. The spine is a series of diamonds and the same diamond pattern is repeated along the bottom edge as well.
