The Resource Bucket

You might be the person others reach out to, the one who holds things together for everyone around you. This worksheet offers a quiet space to notice what also holds you, so the weight does not rest on you alone.

Rather than asking you to solve anything, the Resource Bucket invites you to map out the people, practices, places, words, and small comforts that already support you, and to notice where a little more support might still be built over time. A bucket does not need to be full to be useful. Even a little water can still hold something.

This is not a worksheet about becoming self-sufficient. It is an invitation to notice that you are allowed to lean on things too.

What is included:

•    Printable PDF worksheet, in both Print and Fillable formats

•    A bucket illustration mapping five areas of support: People, Practices & Tools, Places, Words & Reminders, and Small Comforts

•    A second “Looking Closer” page with three deeper reflective prompts

•    A closing reflection to support integration

Suggested use:

•    Individual therapy or coaching, particularly with clients in caring, helping, or supporting roles

•    Journaling for anyone who tends to be the one others turn to

•    Client handouts

•    Reflective work around receiving support, asking for help, and self-honour

This resource may be helpful for clients who find it easier to give support than to receive it, who feel isolated in a caring or supporting role, or who are working on letting support flow toward them as well as from them.
