The Alchemist in the Far Below
From Tales of TearMint: Volume 2
Deep below the University, there is a dark place. A place where light rarely shines. Few people know of it: a broken web of ancient passageways, endless hallways, slanted doors, crumbling walls of stone, ceilings of iron pipes, and abandoned rooms. A young boy who lives there, tucked among the sprawling tunnels of the Underthing, snug in the heart of this forgotten far below.
His name is Whin, and he is full of mysteries and secrets and alchemy. Follow this shattered and broken young boy who is all alone in this vast and wondrous iron kingdom, through seven full days of collecting gifts and things. Gathering if you will, for someone, somebody, who is close to his heart. With his glowing light glass bottle named Foxen, travel with little Whin into the very depth of the further, over wood beam and crooked cogs as he discovers new things that even challenges him more.
From a new and whimsical strain set in my fantasy world comes: Tales of TearMint. A collection of tales where each tells the story of a different character, different time period, different aesthetic. A great look into other lives existing in this beautiful universe, adventurous or mundane, experience new stories strewn through the epic, magical globe of TearMint. Set a 151 years before the events of Hugo the Bloodless, take a brief, bittersweet glimpse of Whin’s life, a small adventure all on his own. At once joyous and haunting, lovely and dire, this story offers a chance to see the world through Whin’s eyes. And it gives the reader a chance to learn things that only he knows....
