WOW! An amazing gripping first book in a new series by Christine Cazaly. I was so immersed I couldn't put the book down. The characters are well developed, engaging and you feel like you know them. There is so much action right from the start, twists and turns, surprises, a little romance, and magic. Christine Cazaly brilliantly weaves and blends her world building so beautifully and magically throughout the story, it keeps you captivated. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it!

The best twists and turns of a storyline I’ve read in a very long time, this book keeps you at the edge of your seat to the last page, leaving you begging for more. Not only is the author a master storyteller, the theme was taken from an actual tarot card, ingenious!

I was just amazed by this book. This is an enthralling and gripping 1st book to a new and thrilling series and I really couldn't put it down.

Christine has masterfully woven this story together and blended all the elements together with her characters and the world-building so beautifully and almost magically that you can't help but be enthralled and captivated by this book.

I just loved this book, Christine Cazaly did such an amazing job and I have to recommend that you read it. And I also have to recommend Christine Cazaly as an author, she has a magic and a power in her words that just draw you in.

 Non-stop action

An action packed story of a young princess sent away by her mother 10 years ago, now being forced to return to her home to marry the heir of the evil Magister, with many adventures along the way. Well-depicted characters. An interesting "ending" to this story. I highly recommend it.
