PVQ-074 Deadends quilt pattern

What do you get when you toss together Rail Fence blocks and Quarter Log Cabin blocks? Lots of starts and stops—dead ends! Can’t get there from here! With only straight seams, it’s a good pattern for a beginner, with tips on getting straight strip sets. Stop at the smallest size for a toddler quilt, small enough to drag around, but big enough to snuggle with. Add a border for a lap quilt. Do you have a border print? Make it with a mitered border (shown inside) for a larger lap quilt—the choice is yours!
