Your Fission Knitting Journey: Every great skill starts with a single step. The Fission Festival patterns are designed to be your guide, building your confidence one project at a time.
Falling for Fission: Discover the simple, satisfying rhythm of this simple motif. This is where your journey begins, and where you’ll fall in love with the magic of Fission Knitting.
The Fission Festival scarves are worked with 2 yarns held together in a marl. The reversible design is created with Fission Knitting; the Fission Knitting Tutorials are available for all the cables.
Worked at a looser gauge, Juniper Moon Herriot Fine’s halo fills in the cables and blooms beautifully to create a lofty, luxurious fabric. The alpaca content ensures that the scarf maintains a gorgeous drape even when knit at a tight gauge.
Knit this scarf to any length. Adjust the width by working with a different weight of yarn. Consider Juniper Moon Farm Herriot on 6 mm/ US#10 needles for a 6 inch wide scarf or Juniper Moon Herriot Great on 9 mm/US#13 needles for a 8.5 inch wide scarf.
