The fact that I certainly cannot recognize everyone who calls themselves that way as my pupils should not become an obstacle to those who have really proven themselves to be my pupils in their deeds and behavior, or who are willing to prove themselves to be true spiritual pupils.

Everyone is their own judge!

A judge of himself against whose truth there is no "appeal" in all eternity!

And his judgment is not a finding of justice in thought, but legal confirmation through action!
Everyone determines himself through his own behavior in such a way that he is unable to be anything other than what this behavior shows him capable of.

The outward gesture, or a self-designation, can beguile one's own ability to judge and deceive one's fellow men, but it cannot change in the least the position in the substantial spiritual life determined by one's own actions.

Anyone who is really my pupil knows it, because he knows how to act, as my teaching says everyone should act.

He doesn't need my express approval, because his actions tell him with absolute certainty whether I can count him among mine or not.
