Der Sinn des Daseins

CERTAINLY, my friend, you are not entirely unfamiliar with those moments when—apparently without any reason—you were suddenly seized by a strange feeling of boundless alienation from your surroundings, probably in the midst of many people, at the same time as the awakening of an inexpressible longing that often continued to work in you for hours.
If you try to remember this longing, you will have to say to me today:  " 
It was a longing for my soul's imaginary, incomprehensibly distant homeland!"
"It was a longing for union with light beings who could feel and understand my innermost being!" 
"It was probably - the longing for an unknown high happiness, which nevertheless seemed wonderfully familiar to me!" 
Perhaps you were also astonished at your experience, because you didn't know how to explain where it could have a basis... 
There, where you found yourself intertwined with the outside world at the moment, there was no cause to be found.
But you didn't want to venture any further, because you didn't want to end up in superstition. - 
That's what you called your experience: "a strange mood" - and your thoughts grew tired of looking for an explanation. 
Nevertheless, there really was reason to search for the cause of such strange experiences, and if you had wanted to search further, you would finally have found that your feeling resulted from unconscious contact with a world that was invisible to you

You had experienced nothing other than a true manifestation of the world of light, in the midst of your earthly existence, and suddenly everything you were used to here seemed strangely "foreign" because for a moment you were over-illuminated from that realm of light that is the true home of your soul . 
That longing had to seize you too, because when you touched both worlds you unconsciously felt that the outer world of the earth was only a well-known "foreigner" to you. — — — 
I advise you: pay attention to such moments from now on and gratefully accept what they bring you! 
There is wondrous power in those moments, and they can have a major impact on your life!
The most essential things in you can change if you willingly turn to their wonders! — 
And if you pay attention to it, you will soon realize that such moments always come back in very specific time sequences! 
However, you will then also notice that these sequences of times become shorter and shorter the higher you value what the contact of both worlds has to give you!
