About Me

My entire life has been in preparation for helping others with anxiety. My personal journey began at the age of 4, when I first began experiencing anxiety and panic attacks.

I’m assuming, like many, that’s what lead me on my professional path, even though I didn’t recognize my own struggles until I was a young adult.

Growing up in the 80’s, nobody talked about mental health. I was able to hide my anxiety. People said I was shy, so shy I would be.

I never caused trouble, so nobody took notice when I was unexpectedly “sick” and had to miss something. Although, often times my anxiety made me physically ill, so I didn’t feel bad for exaggerating it a little.

I became a master of avoidance and played on the kindness the adults gave this shy little girl.

It was never vindictive. It was how a child learned to cope when she noticed she was different and didn’t know how to ask for help.

I often felt as though I was in my own world. That nobody else could see me. I quite preferred it that way too.

Many unhealthy coping mechanisms were developed over the years that often made matters worse. The good news is, I found my way out.

It’s been a long road, but now I share my journey openly. I am now the person I needed when I was a child and a young adult.

Time and time again, my clients have expressed making faster and more impactful progress working with me than years, and for some even decades, of talk therapy. Others have only relied on medication without addressing root causes or life changes. I believe the secret sauce is that I teach my clients all of the skills that are in this course and I am their accountability partner as we navigate making life changing shifts in their daily thoughts and actions.

Professionally, I have been in the mental health field for over 20 years. I began as a Staff Social Case Worker for the Denver Department of Human Services. I worked with children who were taken from their homes because of severe abuse and neglect. Understandably, many of these children dealt with mental health issues.

I went on to graduate school and became a School Psychologist. I was a School Psychologist for over a decade before deciding to stay home with my children. During this time I couldn’t shake my desire to help others. I went on to become a Board-Certified Medical Support Hypnotherapist and a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I am also a Registered Psychotherapist in Colorado.

My Online Course is a culmination of my personal and professional experience. I personally use all the tools in this program because they work. They have transformed my life, and for that I am so grateful.

Now I want to share what has literally taken a lifetime to develop. This is my passion and life calling. You don’t have to do this alone.
