This is a revised version of the Virrat sock pattern originally published in 2015.

- designed for sport weight (approximately 260-300 m / 100 g) yarns
- knitted toe-up
- instructions written in metric and US terminology
- instructions written for magic loop but dpns can be used as well
- three sizes: small (54 sts), medium (60 sts) and large (66 sts)
- reversed star toe (can be replaced by any stockinette toe structure if preferred)
- gusset increases at the centre of the sole followed by a round heel turn and slipped stitch heel flap
- charts but no written instructions for the cabled pattern
