Burly Bear knit hat pattern
This is a pattern for an animal bonnet! The band is worked flat, sts are picked up for the bonnet body, which is worked flat (approx. 3.5 inches/9 cm), and then, bonnet body is joined to work in the round. Ears are worked separately and then stitched on. The under-chin tie is an i-cord with a small clover leaf twist at the end (and is worked with a 6.0mm needle)
You may work this hat as a Burly Bear, Deer, Fox, or Panda. Choose colours and ears, as needed, to complete your perfect look.
