Tanpoong (Maple) | Original Gouache Painting on Watercolor Paper

Bring home the vivid beauty of a Korean garden with this one-of-a-kind original gouache painting.

Meet the glorious red maple tree that graces my little Korean garden. She is a beauty in every season: wearing rich burgundy and carnelian in spring, deep greens and purples in summer, and blazing like a flame when autumn arrives.

This original gouache painting celebrates her extraordinary colors and graceful limbs, capturing the vivid, pure hues that make her such a remarkable presence in the garden. Painted with affection for my favorite tree, this work brings together the quiet elegance of nature and the dramatic beauty of the changing seasons.

Imagine her adding a striking touch of color to your home, studio, reading nook, or personal sanctuary. Whether you love trees, botanical art, or the serene beauty of Korean and East Asian aesthetics, this distinctive original offers a beautiful way to bring the natural world into your everyday surroundings.

An original artwork, painted by hand and offered as a unique piece—not a print or digital reproduction.

Care & Display

This painting is intentionally left unvarnished to preserve the integrity of its colors. Because gouache is sensitive to water and moisture, I recommend displaying it behind glass or suitable protective glazing.

Keep the painting away from direct contact with water, excessive humidity, and damp environments to help preserve its beauty over time.
