I designed this cowl as a skill-building pattern for the confident advanced beginner looking to expand their lace knitting skills. It is the pattern featured in “The Beginner’s Guide to Lace Knitting” workshop.

With a 6-stitch, 8-row repeat, an intermediate knitter will find this an engaging knit that creates a timeless eye-catching accessory, adding a touch of elegance to any outfit.

The lace design incorporates directional decreases that become easy to read as you knit your cowl, and rest rows of simple purl stitches for structure. The cowl is worked flat, knit sideways, and seamed during finishing.
