Prairie Valley Shawl - PDF knitting pattern

Side-to-side construction means you can maximize yarn usage or play around with sizing. The fringe is worked as part of the shawl - 4 garter stitches on the right edge are dropped down at the very last row. No need to leave yarn for the fringe or attach the fringe! Cables softly roll along the edge and breezy lace fills the middle. Both the cable direction and the diagonal mesh change direction at the half-way point so that your triangle has a pleasing visual balance. 

This is a sibling to the Prairie Hills Shawl. The faux cables and garter stitch of that shawl are replaced with real cables and lots of mesh lace to stretch your single skein as far as possible. Directions are included to help you use different yardage.
