As light as a snowflake, this shawl features wide band of zigzag lace pattern.
It is worked in segments, using short row shaping with wraps and turns to show the gradient of the yarn to best effect. Each wrong side row of the segment is shorter than the previous one, to create wedge shapes, with the lace pattern across the widest part of the wedge.

Wingspan 170cm, depth 75cm.
Tension
22 sts and 30 rows in stocking stitch to 10cm on 3.5mm needles, before blocking.

Ullcentrum Lace 1-ply 100% wool (approx 600m per 100g).
2 x 85g skeins Sky Turquoise.
1 pair 3.5mm needles.
Smooth scrap yarn (enough to cast on 106 sts).
