This is a top-down jumper with a yoke pattern beginning with a mosaic panel which is worked backwards and forwards until this part is completed then it is joined to work in the round to complete the rest of the yoke and body of the jumper. The sleeves, which finish just about the wrist (bracelet length) are also worked in a circular method. This ensures that there is very little finishing required beyond sewing down the edging and cuffs and blocking.

The sample shown was knit in Wool is the Answer 4 ply yarn (100 gms = 400 metres. It is 75% super wash merino and 25% nylon. You will need 3 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4) balls of a main colour and 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3) each of 20gm skeins of two contrast colours (that is 4 or 6 skeins in total depending on size made). You are strongly recommended to use colours that provide a strong contrast for the mosaic part as this will ensure the pattern is seen clearly. This is not the place to be subtle!!

Sizes range from a 36" to a 48" bust and use 2-3 balls of 4 ply yarn (100gms) plus 4-6 20gm minis. It is knit on 3mm needles.
