The Dark Descendants: The Complete Series

This is the series that introduced me to Krista Walsh, and now I've read everything she's written! The characters in this series are complex and relatable, and that says a lot considering one is a succubus and another is a deafblind 16 year old girl who has uncanny archery accuracy! The prequel, The Invisible Entente, introduces the reader to all the characters while they try to solve the mystery that has them all magically sealed in a room, and the rest of the series follows one or more of the characters (the ones who escaped!) through their own adventures, and each book leads to situations where they need to rely on each other, either singly or in a group, and the final book has them all working together to save both the mundane and the supernatural worlds. Relationships are forged, new characters are introduced, the mysteries grow more complex, different supernatural abilities are tested, and the action gets more and more exciting as the series progresses! If you like urban fantasy or supernatural fiction at all, this series is not to be missed!
