Great thanks go to Linette Grayum who did the German translation and to Christine Roy-Chazot for the French translation!
This pattern can be purchased individually or as a part of the Trade Winds Collection: Texture.
A rabi is a spring breeze which, while it brings the warmth, can still chill a person fooled by the brighter, sunny days. This wimple can be worn scrunched down or up around the face in the spring (or any other time) to give a bit of soft protection against such a breeze. Calling on the frequent use of birds and feathers in Persian art, the stitch pattern imitates ostrich plumes. Subtle shaping allows a closer or more loose fit, as desired. This is a great first project for laceweight yarn.

27.75 inches / 70 cm circumference at largest width
