The (expandable) Pack-It-In Tote Pattern

Description This fabulously roomy tote is just as pretty as it it versatile. Undo the cute side ties and pack it to the brim with beach / holiday / craft / baby / daily / shopping / gym / workshop gear. Alternatively you can cinch in the sides to make the tote nippier, neater and more slim-line for quick trips to town. The piped handles look really proffesh, are comfier on your shoulders and are sturdier too. Oh and check out the natty front zip pocket! The bottom is a nice wide flat base for easy packing and rooting around for your gear and the sides are softly gathered to add a sweet feminine touch to a super-practical bag.
Finished size Fully extended = W27 1/2" x H12" x D7 1/2" (70 x 30 x 19cm)
Materials (most can be purchased from www.U-Handbag.com):

• 1 yd of 44" wide fabric for exterior and matching thread (100cm x 112cm).
• 1 yd 44" wide fabric for lining and matching thread (100cm x 112cm).
• 1 yd Medium Iron-On fusible interfacing (only needed if using quilt weight exterior fabric) (100cm).
• 1 yd Thermolam Fleece
• 54" of 1/4" wide Flexi-Tube for bag handle making (138cm) - optional.
• 4 x 5/16" wide Eyelets/grommets (14mm) (eyelet instructions are not included in the pattern, please use this eyelet tutorial)
• 1 x 7" all purpose zip (18cm)
• 1 x 18mm Magnetic Snap
• 1 x 14mm Magnetic Snap
• Zipper machine foot
• Disappearing Fabric Marker or chalk
• Lots of pins or Sewing Clips

Printing Ensure that your printer is set to "Actual Size" and NOT shrink to fit when you print the pattern.
