Older Man Pop Split SLC Removal and Ankle Brace Afterwards (Austria)

HE GETS HIS SPLIT SLC REMOVED...CAST TIME OVER :-(

We meet this older gentleman in the queue to register for his check-up appointment.

Leaning his body on his crutches, he tries not to put any weight on his casted foot. The foot is wrapped in a split SLC, which is typically secured with a white fixation bandage.

We meet him again in the waiting area for the x-ray and sit next to him. Here we hold the camera close to his foot. So we can see all the details of his strong toes, which of course rest on a perfectly sculpted toe plate.

He is called in for an X-ray and crutches into the locker room.

We see him again later on the way from the X-ray to the cast room. His cast was removed from the foot before the X-ray and the foot is now only wrapped in a bandage. We hope that he will now have a circular cast put on him.

Unfortunately, to everyone's disappointment, he doesn't come out of the cast room with a cast, but with an ankle bandage still in the original box in his hand.
