Activate the Circular Economy, Reconciling Economy and Nature

Whether it is from an economic, social, environmental or even a public health point of view, waste is everywhere. It is at the juncture of most of today’s ills: pollution, climate change, the rarefaction of resources and of biodiversity, and negative impacts on our health. It is these same observations and aberrations which encourage us on a daily basis to think and to act differently in order to accompany a thorough change in mindset and in social model.

The methodology we propose in this book is based on a two- pronged approach:
- Design thinking, which consists in choosing a ‘co-creation’ approach with the actors concerned, rapid prototyping and continuous improvement to find and to put in place new ideas and tools.
- Biomimicry, which means allowing 3.8bn years of R&D by nature to rethink systems, matter, and shapes.

The authors help firms, local authorities and non-profits in rethinking their products and services to make them more profitable but also more virtuous for their users and for nature.
