The Stormy Weather Worksheet
Available in Letter or A4 size, this printable PDF is a "brain dump" worksheet meant to put anxieties, emotions, intrusive thoughts, and rumination down on paper. This format is great for beginners who may be intimidated by an empty page for self-expression, and provides prompts for thoughts, feelings, hopes, fears, and one coping tool. The weather metaphor works for Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to help individuals understand their “emotional” weather” and what comes before and after the storms (ie. the moments of upset).
This worksheet works for all ages and is a great way to encourage self-awareness and getting in touch with one's needs and emotional tools.
